Reflection
In a letter in a newspaper a writer wrote that they had heard hundreds of sermons but remembered very few of them. A few days later another letter replied that in their lifetime they had had many hundreds of meals but remembered very few of them – however they knew that every single one had fed and nourished them and helped them to keep healthy. So it is when we feed ourselves on the word of God.
Spiritual Exercise
