Holy Communion Times

Looking for a Holy Communion Service?
These are our regular opportunities:
Sunday 8.00am Holy Communion (every Sunday)
For those who like to start each Sunday with a quiet, contemplative service of worship, this ‘said’ form of Holy Communion is a nice way to start the day.
Sunday 10.00am Parish Communion
As well as the weekly 8am, we have a Holy Communion service at 10:00am on the second, third and fourth Sundays of the month. If a major feast day lands on a 1st or 5th Sunday then the Vicar decides what sort of service it will be.
The second and fourth Sundays are a sung communion service with choir and organ.
The third Sunday also involves the Music Group and has a less formal liturgy.
Children and young people join us at the end of the service for communion/blessings.
(Note that we usually have an All Age Worship service on the first Sunday of the month and a “Word & Worship” service on the occasional fifth Sundays which are not Parish Communion.)
Friday 10.30am (each week)
A “said” service of Holy Communion which takes place in the memorial chapel – usually followed by coffee in Church Gate House.
