Safeguarding
Last Updated April 2023
With our strong commitment to the Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults, we are participating with the Church of England Past Cases Review and would like to be made aware of any concerns regarding the behaviour of anyone who has had a leadership role within St Andrew’s from 2014 to the present day. Please call or email the Vicar.
At St Andrew’s, we take the safety of both children and adults very seriously, seeking to follow best practice guidelines.
The PCC of St Andrew’s, Cobham, has adopted the Church Of England “Promoting a Safer Church” Policy Statement, national policies and Practice Guidance approved by the House of Bishops. This policy statement actively underpins all safeguarding work within the church.
You can download and read our 2022 Parish Safeguarding Policy Statement here and a scan of the signed copy is shown.
Our Safeguarding Officer is Wendy Jane Gray who can be contacted via the Parish Office.
